Trish O’Neill

Trish has been an athlete all her life. She grew up in a family that was active and involved in sports year round. As a teenager, softball was her passion. She traveled to the Nationals in softball when she was 15 and then again at the age of 16 and 18. In college she held numerous pitching records for Mansfield University softball team including most shutouts. In 1991 she pitched a perfect game.

After college, Trish’s love for pitching dwindled, but not her love for sports. She continued to be active, working out at the gym as well as playing on several recreation teams including soccer, volleyball and softball. In 1994 she began to teach fitness classes at American Fitness. She worked there for 14 years , the last 5 as the coordinator of the aerobics program.

In 2008, Trish was diagnosed with Leukemia and less than 6 months later had a liver transplant. Being in good physical shape saved her life. After this life changing event, Trish became even more dedicated to fitness and helping others be their best selves. She teamed up with partner Traci to open Inspire Fitness now SONA, a lifelong team.

When she is not being active at the studio or on a sports teams, Trish can be found in the classroom. She has been a special education teacher for over 25 years. She loves her work with special needs children. She also volunteers her time at the church and loves to compete in CrossFit competitions.

Trish believes with a positive attitude and the right mindset, anything is possible!
